Advanced Microeconomics is based upon my first year lectures for graduate microeconomics.  The goal is to review microeconomic theory that is useful for understanding the evidence.  It has both theory and extensive references to empirical work.
The world is very complex and quickly evolving over time, hence a goal of this website is to discuss both the content of the book, and current research.  The forum section allows individuals to discuss issues by chapter.  A feature of human decision making is bounded rationality, and thus there is a separate forum for typos that will be used in future printings (we will acknowledge these contributions).
There is a link to a rough draft of the slides.  These will be updated over time.
